Electrostatic discharge test

Electrostatic discharge test

Summarize

ESD stands for electrostatic discharge. Many materials can conduct electricity and accumulate charge. ESD occurs due to triboelectrification (friction between materials) or electrostatic induction. Whenever this happens, the object forms a fixed charge (static electricity) on its surface. When this object is placed too close to another charged object or material, the voltage difference causes current to flow between them until the charge balance is restored. Electrostatic discharge can therefore be defined as an instantaneous current flow between two charged materials or objects caused by contact, short circuit, or dielectric breakdown.

Product Description Technical indicators

Product Advantages

The static electricity between the human body and the object or between two objects sometimes generates a voltage of up to thousands of volts, which may cause the circuit of electrical and electronic equipment to fail or even damage. NT-ESD is a more advanced intelligent electrostatic discharge generator, output voltage 30 kV, set discharge gun head and touch screen control in one electrostatic discharge simulator, according to the requirements of EN/IEC 61000-4-2 accurate simulation of electrostatic discharge pulse interference, according to ergonomic design. The LCD touch screen is simple and easy to operate, the power supply can be selected AC and battery box, the RC module can be replaced, and the built-in temperature and humidity meter ensures the reliability of use in various test occasions.

Application Scenario

Ergonomic design;
LCD touch screen control;
Temperature and humidity recording and protection;
Automatic polarity conversion;
The discharge module is interchangeable, automatic identification;
Built-in standard test library;
Intelligent detection of air discharge failure.
