To further promote the implementation of the GJB151C-2024 standard, precisely empower the industry, meet the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements of new equipment, and boost the independent innovation and high-quality development of domestic EMC technology, this standard promotion and interpretation meeting is specially held.

The meeting comprehensively analyzed the core content of the new version of the standard, ranging from an overview of the standard to specific test items. It also elaborated in detail on the systematic upgrades achieved by the new standard in aspects such as the electromagnetic compatibility index system, optimization of testing methods, and expansion of environmental adaptability. At the same time, the meeting set up multiple rounds of special Q&A sessions. At the meeting, Professor Zhou Mi from Wuhan University delivered a special report titled "Transient Response of Cables under Artificially Triggered Lightning and Implications for CS117 Testing", discussing the development of lightning protection technology for sensitive equipment in combination with the newly added test item for lightning induction transient conduction sensitivity of CS117 cables and power lines in GJB151C-2024.
